Editions Chicago” will be a new art fair on Navy Pier, put on by the parent company of EXPO Chicago and debuting this September.

According to an announcement Monday by Art Expositions LLC, the fair will feature prints, printmaking, photography and art books by international artists, book dealers and publishers, and will run Sept. 23-26 in Festival Hall.

The fair has been created in affiliation with the International Fine Print Dealers Association and the Association of International Photography Art Dealers, and has ambitions to be an annual event. Art Expositions LLC is run by Tony Karman and also presents the annual modern art exhibition EXPO Chicago — which also is typically on Navy Pier but last month wrapped up its online-only 2021 edition.

“Editions Chicago” will also collaborate with local Chicago galleries and art spaces for what’s promoted as a citywide opening weekend Sept. 24-45, with events taking place concurrently with the fair.

Opening night benefit Sept. 23, then Sept. 24-26 in Navy Pier Festival Hall; tickets $15-$25 at www.editionschicago.com.
